(The challenge)

As Phelan Well began planning the expansion of their services and clinic presence, it became clear that a more considered brand and digital experience would be essential in supporting this next stage of growth.

  1. An inconsistent visual identity
    The existing branding lacked a clear visual system, making it difficult to maintain consistency across different touchpoints.
  2. Re-establishing the brand’s purpose
    While the clinic already had a strong client base, there was an opportunity to refine the brand’s positioning and think more strategically about the audiences Phelan Well wanted to attract moving forward.
  3. Preparing the brand for growth
    As the clinic looked to expand, the brand needed to feel more professional, established and scalable.
  4. Lack of strategic brand foundations
    Key elements such as brand mission, tone of voice, and audience personas had not yet been formally defined, making marketing and content creation less structured.
  5. A website that no longer reflected the business
    The existing site required updates to align with the clinic’s evolving services, pricing and brand identity.

Rather than completely reinventing the brand, we focused on refining and elevating what already existed, creating a cohesive identity and digital presence that could support both current operations and future expansion.

Brand Strategy & Identity

The first stage of the project focused on establishing the strategic foundations of the brand. Through a series of collaborative working sessions with the client, we explored the key elements that define how Phelan Well communicates and connects with its audience.


These sessions helped establish:

  • Target audience and client personas
  • The brand mission and long-term vision
  • A clear tone of voice for communication
  • The visual style and imagery direction for future marketing

This strategic groundwork helped give the brand a clearer sense of purpose and direction, providing a framework the client could continue to use when creating marketing and social media content.

Creative Design & Collateral

We developed a complete brand identity system, including:



  • A full logo suite, consisting of a primary logo, secondary logo and submark
  • Carefully selected typography to ensure readability and professionalism
  • A refined colour palette that reflects the calm, considered nature of the clinic
  • A custom brand pattern to add visual interest across different applications
  • A comprehensive brand guidelines document, designed to be clear and easy to follow so the client could confidently apply the brand across different platforms.

Web Design & Development

With the new brand identity in place, we redesigned the Phelan Well website to align with the updated visual direction and better reflect the clinic’s services.


Key updates included:

  • Updating the website to reflect the new visual identity
  • Improving the layout and overall user experience
  • Updating key information such as opening hours, treatment offerings and pricing
  • Refreshing imagery and visual elements to better represent the brand
  • Creating a clean, easy-to-navigate structure so visitors can quickly find the information they need

The result is a website that feels professional, modern and aligned with the clinic’s evolving brand.

Creative Direction

Beyond the visual identity itself, we also provided ongoing creative direction to help the client understand how the brand should be expressed across different platforms.
